I’m not sure what part of the world you are from, Dan, but European legislation means that life is tough for the makers of big cars.They either hit targets for CO2 emissions or pay multi-billion fines, so I am very sure that Mercedes is very serious indeed about hybrids and fuel cell vehicles.

Well, the frame is abut the right size for the Model S, so it might use a common platform, or Mercedes might make an EV or PHEV model of their own using Tesla technology. But I seriously doubt Tesla would use that body design, they’ve already got a better looking and more aerodynamic body than this one.
